What you’ll do

You’ll play a multi-faceted role in establishing Citizen as the leading crime awareness and crime prevention platform. Your primary focus will be to kickstart our content distribution engine.

  • Content Partnerships

    • Develop new revenue channels and drive value across the lifecycle of our video content.

    • Build relationships with media and news organizations and ensure that content is used in a way that reflects our mission and values.

  • Content Marketing

    • Build a content marketing strategy that spans new and old media, communicating the essence of our values, our community, and the vision for our products.

    • Implement your strategy, developing blog posts, videos, and other written and recorded thought leadership pieces that connect with a number of diverse demographics.

    • Own the Citizen narrative and iterate on our storytelling as we learn what is and isn’t working.

    • Coordinate with local media to gain the right publicity for our platform.

  • External Communications

    • Develop press releases and help coordinate launch strategies when we launch new features and expand to new areas.

    • Monitor social media and online reviews and craft timely and clear responses to any critical feedback on our products.

    • Produce timely and appropriate communications in the event of a crisis or major incident involving our community.
